Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Washington Wizards
Over the past three seasons under Coach Mike Brown, Cleveland has gone 145-101 (.589) during the regular season including an 88-35 (.715) record at The Q. The Cavaliers are one of only five teams with 45 or more wins in each of the past three seasons. Cleveland is one of only three teams to have reached at least the second round of the playoffs in each of the last three seasons.
Chris Jent, Assistant Coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers since 2006, graduated from The Ohio State University. He played four seasons (1988-92) at Ohio State and helped lead the Buckeyes to three consecutive NCAA Tournaments and back-to-back Big Ten Championships. Jent then went on to spend 10 seasons playing professionally, including two years in the NBA for the Houston Rockets and the New York Knicks.
The Wizards, under the direction of Coach Eddie Jordan, have signed first round pick and Nevada’s phonom JaVale McGee. McGee was selected by the Wizards with the 18th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. Randy Ayers, former head Coach for the Men’s Basketball Team at The Ohio State University for 8 seasons, joined the Wizards as an Assistant Coach in 2007.
