The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (HRS) Pre-Commencement Celebration is a special ceremony just for HRS graduating students and separate from the university’s commencement ceremony. Students will have their name announced as they walk across the stage, receive a certificate of completion from their division/academic program director and be recognized by the school’s faculty, staff, and peers for their many accomplishments.

7:30 – 8:00 a.m.: Graduate check-in (arrive no later than 8 a.m.). Enter via the Schottenstein Center’s southwest rotunda (Lane Avenue side).

8:00 a.m.: Doors open for guests
9:00 – 11:30 a.m.: HRS Pre-Commencement Celebration

Ticket Information

Tickets are not required for graduates or guests.

Accessible / Disability Seating is available on the entry level (100) . The seating area is level with the exterior walkways and concourses.  There are no stairs.  Disability seating is offered first-come, first-served.  We ask families to try to limit themselves to one companion with the guest in need so that we may accommodate everyone. 

There is traditional seating adjacent to the handicap accessible platforms for the rest of your party.
